Changing Lives Through Spoken Word Poetry

Our Youth Program Focuses On Uplifting The Voices Of Girls And Providing A Space For Those Voices To Be Heard
For Students:

Siren offers opportunities to have your voice be heard, and your words ignited. With workshops and classes that focus on the craft of writing and the importance of sharing your thoughts and opinions with others, Siren supports each student as an individual and encourages the cultivation of your unique voice.

For Parents:

Siren classes provide a safe and supportive environment for girls to feel comfortable being themselves. Through writing and performance, Siren classes give girls an opportunity to speak out about the things that are important to them, and gain a greater sense of confidence and self worth. Our youth program serves girls ages 13-18, an age where girls need additional support and encouragement from peers and outlets of self expression.

For Educators:

Siren curriculum supports and aligns with state common core standards and strives to increase literacy, language, and public speaking skills. Our curriculum is appropriate for single classroom drop in's or an on-going semester program.
